Why did you get into the Financial Services Industry? Growing up with my father being a NJ State Trooper, I saw how much he was able to change people’s lives for the better everyday, and I knew that I wanted to get into a position where I could help people. Having a background in Accounting & Finance, the Financial Services Industry allowed me to combine my passion for numbers with the desire to help people get their financial lives in order.
Where did you go to school & what certifications do you have? I went to high school at Middletown High School South in Middletown, NJ and then graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting & Minor in Information Technology from Monmouth University in 2006. I currently have my FINRA Series 7 & 66 certifications, and I am a Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table*.
What is the most valuable piece of advice/wisdom you’ve received? The best advice I ever received was: ‘Seek first to understand before being understood.’ I apply this in my practice every day with clients. It is my goal to understand all aspects of their financial lives and help them to make better decisions for themselves and their families.
What charitable organizations are you affiliated with? I am on the Development and Gala Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth & Middlesex County. I am also an avid Platelet Donor for the Central Jersey Blood Center.
